Creating 100 permanently affordable apartment homes
Boulder Housing Partners broke ground on the Rally Flats community in October of 2023. Rally Flats will consist of will consist of 100 units of permanently affordable housing situated at the corner of 29th and Bluff Street at the site of the former RallySport Fitness Center.
The project will consist of 24 studios, 62 one-bedroom units, and 14 two-bedroom units all for households earning less than 60% of the Area Median Income.* BHP estimates that the Rally Flats community will provide $785,000 in annual rent burden relief to Boulder households
The 1.86-acre infill site is exceptionally well located with easy access to the Goose Creek multi-use path, high-frequency transit stops along 28th and Valmont, as well as grocery stores and neighborhood-serving retail. The redevelopment of the site from the existing fitness center will also help to continue the transformation of the 28th and 30th Street corridors into mixed-use, walkable neighborhoods.
