At Boulder Housing Partners (BHP), we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of our residents and creating thriving communities. In 2015, we embarked on a mission to bridge the digital divide, recognizing the importance of internet access in today’s interconnected world. We are thrilled to share our progress and the positive impact we have made since then.

Starting with two properties, Red Oak Park and Broadway East, we initiated our efforts to provide free internet access to our residents. Today, we are proud to offer this service at 30 properties, encompassing an impressive 1272 units. We understand that reliable internet access is no longer a luxury but a necessity for education, job opportunities, healthcare access, and social connectivity.

To ensure seamless connectivity, we have meticulously managed 1068 access points throughout our properties. These access points serve as gateways to our robust wireless networks, allowing residents to stay connected from the comfort of their homes. As of June 2023, we are delighted to announce that our networks have successfully connected 2603 unique devices, opening doors to a world of knowledge and opportunities.

At BHP, security is of utmost importance to us. We have implemented robust measures to protect our residents’ privacy and online safety. Each device connected to our networks is isolated, preventing neighboring devices from accessing them. This isolation provides an extra layer of security, ensuring the privacy of our residents’ online activities.

Furthermore, our networks are equipped with comprehensive web filtering systems that block access to malicious websites. We are committed to creating a safe online environment for our residents, shielding them from potential online threats, and promoting responsible internet usage.
