What is the Opportunity Home Program?
Opportunity Home is a supportive program for people of all ages with disabilities, including onsite programming at 30Pearl for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
We provide highly affordable, inclusive housing with access to resources to support independent living, self-determination, and community connection.
How We Help
As a resident in our Opportunity Home program, you’ll have access to:
- Personalized support from a Resident Services Coordinator who specializes in navigating services for people with disabilities.
- Community Partners, including Imagine!, Parker PCH, and A&I Avenues, that provide employment programs, peer support, independent living resources, and access to long-term care waivers.
- Resident-Led Programming that encourages inclusion, empowerment, and choice.
- Community Connections with events, activities, and opportunities to connect with others.
Who Can Join the Opportunity Home Program?
Applicants must meet initial eligibility requirements and be considered “Program Ready” to join the housing waitlist for the Opportunity Home sites.
- Madison (62+ or disability)
- Manhattan (62+ or disability)
- 30PRL (onsite services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities)
Each of these communities has access to resources, including community spaces with libraries, computers, Wi-Fi, and onsite programming and community events.
Supportive services start when you are accepted into the Being Home program and admitted into a housing community.
Eligible residents pay approximately 30-40% of their income towards rent.
Who Should Apply?
Low-income people with a disability who live or work in Boulder County. There is no minimum income required to qualify, and applicants may earn up to 50% of the Area Median Income to qualify:
