Located in Central Boulder just one block from the 28th street corridor, Woodlands offers 35 townhomes for families participating in Boulder County’s Family Self-Sufficiency program. Residents can enjoy a central playground, community center, and nearby RTD bus lines and shopping centers. After applying and qualifying for the Family-Self Sufficiency program through Boulder County, apartments are offered at rents below market rate and come with additional rental assistance. Income, student, and additional restrictions apply.

Family Self-Sufficency (FSS) program at Woodlands
Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) is a 5-year academic, employment and savings incentive program offered by Boulder County that is designed to help low income families gain education and career skills to move toward self-sufficiency.
Boulder Housing Partners’ Woodlands community operates in partnership with Boulder County as one of the locations where families who are participating in the FSS program live.
Who is this program for?
Apartments through the FSS program are for income-qualified families with a child under 18 who are motivated to pursue additional education & job training with the goal of moving toward self-sufficiency. Interested applicants must reside within Boulder County in order to apply to the Family Self-Sufficiency program. Additional qualifying criteria apply.
