Harvest34 – Future Affordable Housing Site

44 Units Under Development

In 2015, with the financial support of the City of Boulder, Boulder Housing Partners (BHP) purchased the 4.5-acre vacant lot east of the Orchard Grove Mobile Home Park for future affordable housing development. The community, now known as Harvest34, draws its name from the site’s history as a former orchard and reflects the area’s agricultural heritage.

Since beginning the planning process in 2017, BHP has worked to develop a thoughtful site design that balances the need for affordable housing with environmental stewardship and community amenities.

Harvest34 is currently in the permitting process with the City of Boulder. The proposed development includes 44 single-family-style affordable rental homes designed to provide high-quality housing opportunities for Boulder residents.

The site plan preserves the existing wildlife corridor and significant open space, particularly along the community ditch. Planned community amenities include a community center, playground, community gardens, pollinator gardens, and walking paths that encourage pedestrian and bicycle connectivity throughout the neighborhood.

BHP anticipates beginning construction later this year and will continue to provide updates as the project moves forward.
