Paying in Cash with Your WIPS Account

ABOUT WIPS

Reduce the need for purchasing and filling out several money orders and save the extra step of mailing or delivering your rent.

You can use your Walk In Payment Services (WIPS) Account to pay your rent in cash at any King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, or other national participating retailers.

To locate national retailers, visit www.checkfreepay.com/agentlocator and choose WIPS Rent Payments as the biller. You can conveniently pay your rent at one of these nationwide locations if you’re out of town on rent day.


HOW IT WORKS

  • Visit the customer service desk at a King Soopers in Boulder or at a participating national retailer.
  • Know the exact amount you want to pay before going to the store. The store will not know the amount.
    Example: Rent + Maintenance Fee + WIPS $3.00 fee
  • At the store, tell the cashier you want to mak a WIPS Rent Payment and present your account number and cash payment.
  • Keep your receipt. This is your only proof of payment.

HOW TO GET YOUR WIPS NUMBER

You can request your WIPS Account Number here or you can login to your Rent Café account to find the WIPS Account Number under the Payment Accounts Tab.
