Renovations are nearing completion at two of Boulder Housing Partners' deeply affordable communities in Boulder.


The Madison community, built in 1971, is home to families, seniors and people with disabilities in 33 apartments and townhomes. Located at 1130-1190 35th Street, Madison is undergoing an extensive interior and exterior renovation.  All 33 homes will receive full renovations that include: in-unit laundry, central air conditioning, dishwasher, new finishes, new siding, and new windows. Additionally, the community grounds will receive upgraded landscaping, a new  playground, and a new community center. Madison monthly rents are attainable to people earning 60% or less of the Area Median Income.

The Woodlands community, built in 1994, will also be improved with less extensive renovations. The focus at Woodlands will be on site improvements and efficiency upgrades, including a new playground.  We will also modernize the community center. Located at 2663-2685 Mapleton Avenue, Woodlands has 35 apartments for families. Woodlands monthly rents are attainable to people earning 50% or less of the Area Median Income and participating in the Family Self-Sufficiency Program.
