BHP Board of Commissioners Adopts Resolution in Support of Dreamers Affected by DACA Rescission
In light of the recent federal decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, BHP’s Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution in support of BHP Dreamers who are directly impacted by this decision. We value the many contributions of DACA beneficiaries, including BHP residents and staff, who are working, studying, and pursuing their future aspirations.
BHP is committed to diverse, inclusive, and vibrant communities and the prosperity of our residents regardless of immigration status. Along with the City of Boulder City Council, the Boulder County Commissioners, and other human service organizations and educational institutions, we call on Congress and the President to address the legal status of Dreamers in such a way as to allow them a path to permanent United States citizenship.
