Red Oak Park & BHP Wins Prestigious International Design Award
Boulder Housing Partners (BHP) and its Red Oak Park development was named the winner of a 2012 Urban Land Institute (ULI) Global Award for Excellence in Real Estate Design and Development by the Urban Land Institute. BHP executive director Betsey Martens accepted the award October 19 at ULI’s 75th anniversary national conference in Denver.
Property at 2625 Valmont Road Purchased
Very near the end of 2012, BHP completed its due diligence and closed on the purchase and land bank of the property located at 2625 Valmont Road, the current location of the Wallace Vacuum and Sewing. The ¾ acre parcel is located just east of the northeast corner of the intersection of Valmont Road and Folsom Road in central Boulder. The parcel is also immediately adjacent to BHP's recently redeveloped Red Oak Park housing community. Other than possibly including the property with the development of Phase II of Red Oak Park, the two lots abutting Valmont Road, BHP has no plans or timeline for development, planning or construction.
